X-MEN ( DR. CORBEAU)

Here we have a handpainted screen used animation sell from the early 90s X-Men animated series featuring DR. CORBOU. He is displayed on a really nice scene marching painted master background (Captain America is wearing wolverine claws in this setup. Very cool.

MORE INFO:

This original hand-painted animation cel setup is from X-Men: The Animated Series (Season 3, Episode 3), specifically "The Phoenix Saga - Part I: Sacrifice".The scene features Dr. Peter Corbeau, the brilliant astronaut and creator of the Starcore space shuttle Eagle One. He is pictured piloting the shuttle wearing his orange and blue Starcore space suit right before the X-Men board to help save his crew from solar radiation and Erik the Red.This particular animation sequence is highly recognizable among animation collectors because the Starcore astronaut space suits prominently feature a triangular Starcore patch on the shoulder that looks identical to the Star Trek Starfleet delta insignia, which has become a famous 90s animation trivia Easter egg.

The size is roughly 11 x 14”
