FABLES OF THE GREEN FOREST anime Cel Animation Art 1973 Japan Vtg Production I8

here we have an extremely rare, handpainted animation cell with scene matching painted background from the 1973 anime series” fables of the green forest”. They seem to be original “ pitch boards” when the creator was trying to sell the idea to the studio. The set ups have been matted and we’re part of a display binder at one point the art goes all the way to the edges (hidden behind matte. I took a peek)

Stuff like this comes around once in a lifetime very rare. The set ups are roughly.
